Wellness

A Whole-Person Approach

My approach is eclectic, individualized, and deeply client-centered. I draw from both traditional and experiential practices, recognizing that wellness is not simply about what happens in the mind. Our thoughts, emotions, nervous system, breath, and body are constantly communicating with one another.

Depending on your needs, our work may incorporate:

Mindfulness and meditation
Breathwork and nervous-system regulation
Somatic awareness and body-based practices
Yoga and movement
Dance and creative expression
DBT and CBT-informed strategies
Resilience and distress-tolerance skills
Stress management
Grief and loss
Life transitions
Trauma-informed care

The goal isn’t to eliminate difficult emotions or experiences. It is to develop the capacity to move through them with greater awareness, flexibility, and resilience. We work on strengthening the muscles of frustration tolerance, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and self-compassion—skills that can change the way you navigate both everyday stress and life’s more profound challenges.

Mind + Body + Self

I believe wellness happens when we begin to understand the connection between what we think, what we feel, and what we experience in our bodies.

Breathwork, movement, mindfulness, and somatic practices can help bring us back into the present moment and create greater awareness of what is happening within us. Rather than simply thinking our way through challenges, we learn to listen to the wisdom of the body as well.

This work is about becoming more connected to yourself—not becoming someone different.

Move Beyond Ordinary Limits

Karuna: The Sanskrit word for compassionate action.

My approach to wellness begins with compassion—compassion for ourselves, our bodies, our experiences, and the people around us.I’ve found that we often extend grace, patience, and understanding to others far more readily than we offer it to ourselves. My work is about changing that. Together, we explore the lens through which you see yourself and your journey, creating space for greater self-awareness, resilience, and self-compassion.I believe each of us has an inner wisdom—a wise mind—that can become harder to hear beneath the noise of expectations, self-criticism, fear, and the endless chatter of what we might call the monkey mind. Through mindfulness and deeper self-exploration, we work to quiet that noise and strengthen your connection to your own inner voice.
